Stitch in Time

The current site has been formatted for viewing on a computer screen and is not 'friendly' for printers or handheld devices. Once the change-over is finished, I hope to have custom style sheets for all the necessary media formats, including printing and handheld devices. Being a part time volunteer and an amateur at CSS, the change-over may take some time. I can only work when I have spare time.

Content

After the dust settles, I hope to add content (some of my own, as well as others'). I believe that Moral Government thinking and the need to articulate it still exists today. Incorrect thinking will prevent us from entering into the fullness of God's plan. If we come to the point of being honest and admitting we are not all the Word of God declares believers to be, a change is called for.

In addition, seeking ad dollars may be the only way to find support for this work. So, ads may begin to appear with the content presented here. If you have alternative ideas for supporting this work, let me know.

Update: 08-01-10

I believe the work of converting the site to the new format is finished. The articles have a print style sheet so they will be more printer friendly. From most browsers you can select "Print Preview" to view the layout before printing. I don't have a hand held web browsing device yet, so the media style sheet will have to wait. Let me know if you find any problems with pages not updated, formatted or typographical issues. I do have more content I need to add, but I will take a break for now. My next large project is to make this material Section 508 compliant so it will be assessable for everyone.

I have started a new four to eight week contract and getting used to new tools and standards is always a strain. Thus the need to take a break and earn some money.

Update: 06-05-10

Still working on the conversion. Many set backs, both personal and professional, which I will be sharing soon (the Lord willing) under "Personal Thoughts" section of "The Whole Truth" site for those interested.

Though I have not settled on a color scheme yet, the "makeover" is more of a blast from the past as content from the original site finds a new home. It seems like a better representation of the material presented within. I will continue to revamp the main page (including the color scheme) too. Your feed back is appreciated.

I have finished Christian Character, Free Will & The Nature of Sin, and am just now beginning to work on Omniscience and the Openness of God. Let me know if you find any issues.

Thus far the advertising is not paying off. Though the hit count continues to rise, and the 'per view' counter is over seven thousand our account shows less than five dollars earned. If anyone knows of an agency that pays per view, please drop us a line with the info - thanks.

Update: 09-12-09

The work of updating the Moral Government articles is complete. Let me know if you find any issues. Please report broken links, pages not updated, or formatting that does not look correct. I have moved on to the Revival section and thus far have completed the article on the Welsh Revival of 1904 highlighting the work of Evan Roberts and Revival Lectures.

I know you don't need to be informed of the promised advertising now appearing on the pages. If you find inappropriate advertising please send me the URL (address of the site) as there is a way to block any advertiser.

Update: 08-01-09

We are moving Revival Theology Resources to http://www.revivaltheology.net. It is hoped to be as seamless as possible, but do let me know if you encounter any issues. While the content is there now, I will be throwing the switch on 08/07/09. During the continuing restoration/remodel of the code, the Lord willing, we will be adding Premium content to include out of print publications and anything the Lord may provide. If you have any out of print/copyright publications that follow in the vein of this site you can send them (or a clear photocopy) to the address on our contact page. Or if you have them in digital form, let me know and we can affect a transfer. As the Lord Jesus provides the time, we will convert them to text and publish them. I may be adding a Blog soon too, either here or on the http://www.twtministries.com site.

Like most, the brunt of my time and energies are spent providing for the family and keeping the bills paid. So, as promised, advertising will be added to the pages here in hopes of being enabled to afford more time for the work of God. Since you are unable to share in the support of this work, maybe an advertiser will provide you with a product or service you need, and through this you will be supporting the work here.

I hope you are aware of the darkness and are getting your heart right with the Lord. And that you are actively sharing your faith. This is why Finney, Tozer, Olson, Conn and many others spent their lives clearing the path to a sound faith in God and His Son, Jesus Christ. Not the establishment of doctrine and theology, but removing the hindrances and stumbling blocks so we may see Jesus Christ as He truly is. Now they have gone on; they have ceased their labors. Now is our time, yours and mine, to rise and answer the call. We have known this time was coming, but always thought it sometime off in the distance. Now the times seem to be at a gallop. More soon.

I have a few more pages updated with the new format. Not all, but most of Moral Government, all of Original Sin and Eternal Security and maybe a few more. I hope soon to be playing with a print and a hand held CSS scripts. More information soon...

I am placing some temporary banners in hopes of inciting some financial participation by a few of the many who visit every month. So far no one stands in support of this work. As I said in the main blurb, I repeat now: If support does not appear soon, I will be taking a more commercial route. Update: 03-01-09

I have now completed the conversion of the articles found under the topic Eschatology. It happened to be one of the smallest, yet it proved to be quite a challenge. I am taking a break for a bit, don't know for how long. IE is still having issues and some of the CSS was a bit tricky, my knowledge still lacking. I hope you will remember my family and I in prayer, as we do need it. A few supporters and some CSS expertise would be helpful too. Update: 01-08-09

The improvements appear to be Firefox 3 and Safari 3.2 compatible, I am giving up on 100% Internet Explorer (IE) compatibility. IE 7 & 8 beta do not behave as they should. I spent much more time on this than I could really afford. The basic CSS and templates are finished. I will begin on converting the writings as time permits. If you find any glitches, please let me know through the new Contact form. Thanks!
